A bra pattern unlike any other, Paris is not just a bra pattern but a master class in lace applications. Paris has 4 views created exclusively for Beverly Johnson’s online students.  You will learn to create a whole top drawer full of bras from the included class pattern that not only rival the finest Paris runways, but that include advanced lessons in lace work, such as:

• how to identify types of laces and how to tell if they will be successful for your project
• how to mirror or balance lace and know when and why to do either
• how to draft lace overlays so the scalloped edge always aligns perfectly at the bridge
• how to make lace edging work for you even when you don’t have enough lace to cover the whole frame

• sew a demi-lace application over sheer fabric
• sew a decorative lace power bar and a lace butterfly

• how to cover foam seams so the inside is as pretty as the outside

• 4 unique interchangeable lace strap constructions

The Views of Paris

Every View of Paris includes a lace band that “magically” curves the lace around the cups, even when the lace edging does not. This lace band has been designed so that it is interchangeable with the bands used in the London class. This means you have just doubled your bra pattern library! This mastery course includes hours of instructional video covering all Paris views with their lace elements and strap details, all taught by the Fairy Bra Mother herself, as well as printable instructions for you to refer to as you learn.  This master class in lace elements and strap details will soon have you wishing you could show off your bras to everyone you meet! 

• LOUVRE – lace lined with sheer, with a lace edging upper cup and multiple shapes of lace to suit your own edgings, with simple tube straps
• MARAIS – lace trim over fabric (or sheer) shaped like a butterfly as it appears to curve around the cup, with lace insertion straps
• OPERA – lace power bar continuing up the lace overlay strap for a harmonized look, without any raw edges showing
• PALAIS – completely covered in lace with optional foam lining, this view uses a double strap for an ultra-feminine detail

What’s included with the Paris class?

As part of the Paris class, you receive a complete pattern set in a size range from 3.0 BCD through 6.5 BCD. Best of all, you won’t have to wait for shipping! Yes, these patterns are now in .pdf format, so you can print them at home – no special printer needed (you can print on either letter size or A4 paper). Most pattern pieces use one sheet of paper with only the largest sizes using more than one. You won’t have to spend hours taping patterns together. Just print and start cutting. Don’t have a printer? Don’t worry – we also include a full-size pattern for each size so you can take it to the copy shop or upload the file to a projector to avoid using paper altogether.

The class includes printable instructions for all FOUR views of Paris and their lace and strap options, all illustrated as you know Beverly always does. That’s not all – you also get over 3 hours of video lessons, all taught by the Fairy Bra Mother herself. Unlimited watching of video instruction not geared only to construction, but also a master class in bra lace application where you will learn to love working with lace! Last, but certainly not least, as part of every class, you are invited to access Beverly’s private Facebook group, whose members include students of her classes, her Certified Instructors, and fitting experts from around the world. *How to Download your Paris Class Patterns*

Once you purchase Paris, you should get an email with your order summary with some important links in it. If you do not get an email, please check your SPAM folder as your server may not recognize us as a legitimate email (we are, we promise!).  The following links are there:  how to print Paris pattern Files (How to Print Paris Pattern Files), All Views of Paris Instructions, and the YouTube link to the Paris Class. The PARIS pattern files are NOT in the email. In order to access the pattern files, you must go into your account and the files will be there.

If you did NOT set up an account, simply use the same email address you used during check-out to register and log in. If you forgot your password, please request a password reset. When you get in to your account you will see the three pattern files there: the Pattern Pages, the Large format files and the Projector Files.  Please download them and store the files in a secure place on your computer, as you are limited to THREE downloads. Please DO NOT try to download them to a phone or tablet, even to view them.  In the meantime, you can download this helpful information.
