This is the most exciting news I’ve shared in years.

I have come out of retirement for one reason: to create the professional bra-making and legacy program I’ve always wished existed in an online format.

For years, I taught a professional bra-making program for a college, and for my own school In Hamilton, as well as teaching classes on the Craftsy platform. Those experiences with thousands of students I’ve taught, shaped the way I teach today. Now I’m bringing everything I’ve learned into a program that is entirely my own—an online academy designed for women who want to master the art and engineering of the bra.

The Professional Bra-making Legacy program is a four-level professional training program that can take you as far as you want to go in your bra-making journey. Whether your goal is to achieve exceptional sewing and fitting skills for yourself, create beautifully fitted bras for family and friends, work with private clients, or eventually develop your own bra patterns, this Academy provides a structured path to get there.

This is not a collection of disconnected “bra-making” classes you find elsewhere. This is next level bra-making with a guided mentorship program designed to help you become the very best bra-maker you can be.

Each level (semester) includes:

• Ten virtual masterclasses with Beverly, recorded so you can rewatch whenever you need to
• Class meet-ups for discussion, fitting support, and sewing guidance
• Private coaching sessions with Beverly – your Fairy Bra Mother

You won’t be learning alone. Not only does Beverly have a team of Teaching Assistants, you’ll be part of a larger community of dedicated bra-makers who grow together, fit together, and celebrate every milestone together.

Your Next Level Masterclass with My Professional Bra-making Legacy program

Level 1: Foundations – Master your own fit and learn superlative construction techniques.

Level 2: Support – Learn to create, fit and sew for classmates and others.

Level 3: Uplift – Develop advanced drafting and fitting skills to work with clients.

Level 4: Projection – Step confidently into professional practice, teaching, pattern development, and the next stage of your bra-making career.

Throughout the Professional Bra-making Course, you’ll learn through a combination of live instruction, detailed slides, PDF resources, sewing patterns, demonstration videos, class meet-ups, and personal coaching. Each level introduces progressively more challenging fitting situations, pattern modification, adaptive design, and increasingly sophisticated materials and construction techniques.

 Level 1: Foundations (starts September 2026)

Your journey begins with perfecting your own fit with a pattern included with the course. In this first level, you will be doing a deep dive into the engineering of the bra to build the essential knowledge and skills that every skilled bra-maker needs.

• Terms and definitions: understanding every part of a bra
• My own recognized sizing system versus traditional ready-to-wear sizing
• Learning about DoGS & DoNS
• Essential tools, supplies, and studio setup
• Fabrics for bands and cups, including mechanical give
• Findings and elastics, and how to calculate stretch percentages
• Fitting wires and measuring the body without tester cups
• Making a fitting band and bridge for yourself to test multiple cups
• Sewing the bra step-by-step, including the Gothic arch, strap wrap,
• Learn about support elements such as power bars, slings, collars and pockets
• Fitting the cups
• Working with cut-and-sew foam to create a whole new look
• learning construction methods guaranteed to take your bra sewing to the next level.

At the end of Level 1, we’ll celebrate your progress with a virtual fashion show featuring your finished bras and the many creative variations you’ve made along the way.

The Legacy Program has several payment options: 2499 for one payment, 1299 for two payments and 699 for payments made in four parts. Just choose the payment plan that suits yoru budget.
