What could be a better feeling than wearing a bra that fits perfectly, supports well and feels like you are wearing nothing at all? That is a magical feeling. The only thing better than that, is the feeling of satisfaction you get from making that perfect bra yourself, with the beautiful fabrics and exquisite laces you’ve purchased and held onto for “just the right time”. And that, my friends is the magic of Bra-making and that time is finally here!
Whether you are an expert sewist, or one who is still struggling with the basics, I have always said “if you can set in a sleeve, you can sew a bra“. It’s so true. Even though you may have never sewed elastics before, or never have sewn stretch fabrics before – if you have set in a sleeve, where on curve sews to a different curve, you can sew a bra.
