From the simple to the sublime, this collection of Garter Belt patterns will literally walk you through every occasion, day or night. Each view increases with complexity, but none are difficult to sew. View A is a tailored garter with lace trimming, each piece forming a perfect point and fastening with a G-hook in the back. View B can be made with lace or sheer fabric, or any kind, and trimmed with fold-over binding. The top of each garter features a peek-a-boo attachment point and a hook and eye closure. View C uses a clever combination of lace edging and fabric, trimmed with decorative ribbon to accentuate its classic, tailored lines. A hook-and-eye closure finishes the back. View D is a two-layer garter belt, with an overlay of lace edging over a coordinating fabric, trimmed with picot-edged elastic. Each point ends with its own bow-adorned garter strap – 8 garters in all, fastening with a hook and eye closure.
Waist sizes 28″-46″ (71-117 cm) and hip sizes 36″-54″ (91-137 cm) are included in this pattern. The pattern is easy to adjust if you need to increase or decrease the waist or hips to the next size up or down. Bilingual instructions in English and French.
